He had a “very constructive” meeting with the German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel on various joint development projects related to the transportation sector.
As a result of this Mr Sigmar Gabriel will pay an official visit in May to Tehran to finalize the projects and contracts.
Abbas Akhoundi held also separate meetings with senior officials of Siemens AG and Volkswagen.
After implementation the nuclear accord in January, all nuclear-related sanctions on Iran have been terminated and reopened the doors for foreign investors.
