Turkish energy company Unit International to build seven power plants in Iran

A major Turkish energy company, Unit International has reached a $4.2 billion deal with Iran’s Energy Ministry to build a total of seven power plants in seven separate regions of Iran.

The respective agreement has been signed on the 1st of June 2016 at a ceremony in Tehran.

Iran and Turkey have signed eight memorandums of understandings on the 16th of April 2016 to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
